If you cover the top of the root with salt after you use the welder it will kill the root and won’t grow back!

Never pull a thistle! 3-4 will grow in its place now! They shoot roots out like grass. You have to put thistle killer on them.

Your soil is calcium deficient, thistles are fixing the soil. Throw some fertilizer down and you should have less of a problem next year! I pulled mine and fertilized and hoping for a good outcome 💕

maybe consider getting some soil testing done:-) your local extension office will have the boxes and the testing is often free for farmers!!
