My 8yo Informed me that the new form of tag on the school playground is the kid being “it” is called Elon and the rest of the kids run from them so he doesn’t take their belongings 😩😂😭

I feel like this is either exaggerated or their school system failed and like my public schools are shit but like since 2nd grade on 9/11 (if schools in session) we’ve always had a little history lesson even had a few speakers from those who were on the grounds when it happened.

my first day as a student teacher the kids were asked what they knew about 9/11 and they said "bush did it" and "the towers went boom." they were serious.

My oldest was born at the very end of 2009 and will be in 10th grade this August—he would be that kid who knows everything in detail because his mom is weird and likes watching documentaries about stuff like that and it rubbed off on him 😅

I'm a daycare worker in Canada and a couple days ago I heard a kid say "My mum h4tes Polievre" and their friend responded, "Well, yeah, he's awful, he's friends with Trump" THESE KIDS ARE 9 Y/O BTW 😭
