My grandmother was the third of ten kids, born to a very poor family. She could not go to high school cause she had to stay home and help her mom. Then got married at 16 to a man 10 years older than her. They were happy later on, but I still wonder what would have happened had see been allowed to go to high school.

i got pregnant naturally and quickly at 33 and 35 i don’t think age is the reason ppl need IVF so much now i think it has more to do with hormones in our food and stuff

60% of marriages between the ages of 20-25 fail. While only 10-14% fail between the ages of 30-34. Why? bc the frontal lobe which controls reasoning, logic & decision making fully develops at the age of 30

The main statistical reason women are having children later is because teen pregnancy plummeted. And the father in the majority of teen girls pregnancies was over the age of 18. So the main reason is we've substantially reduced child SA.

My grandmother died two decades ago. And I can assure you, if she had choices she would have gone to college (which she did eventually at 60), grad school. Anything but be a housewife! She made sure her daughters and granddaughters had higher aspirations!

There is no good, selfless reason to have kids. If you want to raise a child, save one of those in the broken "care" system. Those who bank their retirement / old age on their child disgust me.
