The least we can do is show understanding and compassion toward one another. Such jokes aren't funny; we never truly know what someone else is experiencing. Please think twice before making such "jokes." Su¡c¡de is a serious matter and considered a major sin in Islām, so making light of it is not acceptable. If you are going through a tough time, I suggest to seek comfort with the Qurʾān, pray on time and constantly make duʿāʾ. Also, don't hesitate to speak with your loved ones.
