pretty sure this is backwards. Old gamers know the pain and effort that goes into a well developed campaign over months, even years. Now-a-days,it's all modules and flat. non-3-dimentional characters

one of our characters is a regressor with a custom skill that only works in this specific campaign, and i keep having to use necromancy on him, because when he dies we have to start the whole story anew with only him knowing what happened in the last life
