Watching you grow into the person you are today has been one of the greatest joys of my life. And now, as life takes you to college, a new chapter is beginning—one that will shape your future in ways neither of us can fully imagine yet. College will be full of opportunity. You’ll meet new people, explore ideas that challenge you, and learn more about yourself than ever before. Take it all in. Stay open, stay curious, and don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone—that’s where some of the best growth happens. Here are a few things I hope you’ll carry with you: • Work hard, but rest when you need to. Discipline is powerful, but so is knowing when to pause and recharge. • Choose your friends wisely. Surround yourself with people who lift you up, inspire you, and respect who you are. • Be kind. To others, always—but also to yourself. You’ll stumble sometimes, and that’s okay. Keep learning and moving forward. • Stay true to your values. In a world that will try to pull you in a thousand directions, never forget what matters most to you. • Ask for help when you need it. Strength isn’t doing it all alone—it’s knowing when to lean on others. You are ready for this, even if it doesn’t always feel like it.
