Just a heads up- most high temp paints like engine paint or even Stove Bright paints are not suitable for being near food. The only way to safely paint a glossy food-safe surface is powder coating.

“Vintage” stoves are incredibly dangerous. They do not have the same safety precautions as new ones. I’d, know, one of mine is from the 70s and it’s horrible.
