I've started to accept that spending more for clothing tends to cost less in the long term, as well as the other benefits like odour resistance. My hemp shirts are unreal -I'd definitely consider wool

Wool clothes are so expensive and yet sheep farmers are selling fleeces for pennies and can barely give them away

Ken, I never skip a video. How you articulate your ideas and teach the audience about various matierials whilest having a discourse about how you came to a design decision. Phenomenal.

Wearing synthetic fibres isn’t good for us, so natural fibres for me. Best not to wear with linen though. 😊

If taken care of properly pure wool can last decades. Hand knit sweaters can last 20 - 30 yrs, even with regular wear. So the time it takes to knit, is worth it.

Beware bleach on your wools, protein fibres like wool and silk literally disintegrate in bleach (good way to test fabric for fibre content) Cottons will burn like paper and self extinguish, plastic melts and burns very quickly!

Why do I have a cashmere cardigan I bought 40 years ago in Scotland, I still wear that sweater and it has never pilled, not even a bit. Is the process they used back then no longer available?

What if you made a 2 parts wool 1 part denim? Would it be like a really good set of winter pants?

Please write a book on fiber. I’m an amateur fiber artist (stuff really just for me!). I would love to read and learn more. 🥰🥰🥰

Wool being too expensive is bizarre to me from a farming standpoint. Irish farmers are dumping and bedding with wool because its worth nothing

I think there’s something to be said about designing clothes that are both true to your values and heritage while also being conscientious about being environmentally friendly!
