because the magic that happens when you have not only the aesthetic that attracts your fan club, and the personal element that makes them interested in you as a person, is literally unmatched. and in my three years as a brand designer, there is nothing I’ve seen that has the impact quite like that combo. I could literally talk all day about how I used to think that brand design (the logo, the color palette, the graphics, the fonts, etc etc) was the end all be all - but there was always something missing, some piece of the puzzle that wasn’t connecting. When I would check up on previous clients 6 months, 1 year down the road after working together, oftentimes they were still struggling to attract their ideal clients. and this REALLY did not sit right with me- because in my head, my belief was that branding should fix those problems. And who am I to sell this service, if it wasn’t working????? this led to a really uninspired season, where I felt disenchanted with branding as a whole. BUT that led me to my missing link - it’s not that the branding wasn’t working- it’s that it just wasn’t the full picture. the clients that struggled, hadn’t developed a personal brand on social media. they hadn’t connected on a human level to their audience, to the community they wanted to attract. so no amount of logo variations would help them, without that level of community and connection. this was quite literally groundbreaking for me. now, months later in my business, I literally feel like i finally know the golden path forward, and I have SEEN it work time and time again. it’s the design aesthetic, COMBINED with the personal brand on social media that connects a community deeply to a business, that makes sales a dream, that makes attracting your ideal clients easy. i literally have seen the light and I’m never going back! and I wanna help you do it too → If you’re not sure where to start, shoot me a voice note in the DMs @lydiamegdal!
