Inspired by Flour Bakery’s famous sticky buns, we’re making an easy breezy version with @Jus-Rol North America puff pastry! #ad I love a good brioche dough, but I really love the flaky layers and tender chew that puff pastry brings to these ultra-decadent sticky buns. Plus, it means almost zero prep time for the dough! For this version, I reduced the amount of goo needed for an 8” cake pan. Puff pastry doesn’t rise as much as the original brioche dough, so the entire recipe can fit into a single cake pan and makes for a stunning final presentation! Let me know if you’ve tried these sticky buns before?! Ingredients 4 tbsp butter 1⁄2 cup light brown sugar 2 tbsp honey 2 tbsp heavy cream 2 tbsp water 1⁄8 tsp kosher salt 1⁄4 cup light brown sugar 1⁄4 cup granulated sugar 1⁄4 tsp cinnamon 1 cup pecans, toasted and chopped, divided 1 package Jus-Rol puff pastry Step 1: Make the goo. Combine the butter and brown sugar in a medium saucepan over medium, whisking constantly until sugar is melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and whisk in the honey, cream, water and salt. Set aside to cool for at least 30 minutes. Step 2: Fill the rolls. Preheat oven to 350. In a small bowl, combine the sugars, cinnamon and 1⁄2 cup pecans. Unroll puff pastry on a flat surface. Sprinkle the pecan mixture evenly over the surface and starting from the long edge, roll up in a tight scroll. Use a piece of unflavored floss to cut the scroll into 12 even pieces. Step 3: Assemble and bake. Pour the goo into an 8” cake pan and sprinkle in the remaining 1⁄2 cup pecans. Place the 12 rolls on top, then bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the tops of the rolls look golden and the goo is a deep shade of amber. Remove from the oven, let cool for 5 minutes, then flip onto a large serving platter and serve warm!
