I counted and weighed at the start , but now I've got into such a healthy routine of eating and cut out all the mayo , oil ,butter, sauces, sour cream etc. clean eating , no longer need to count.

Until I started following Maggie I had a history of dysfunctional eating and dieting intermittently for 49 years now feel stable calm and working on listening to my body, under active thyroid, menopausal, and in the midst of emotional instability I have still lost 3lb in 2 weeks in a very calm and controlled way as Maggie always says with no drama 😁

I don't track my calories as much as my nutrients. Trying to reduce sugar, salt and saturated fats from the mindless eating I was doing. Seeing how much is a way of making conscious choices as to which food I actually want to eat, instead of just reaching mindlessly.

I love the structure of tracking my food, but I'm literally never going to measure every bite on a food scale. Most of the time I estimate, and it works for me. I also learned to honor my hunger and feed my body, but know when I'm bored and when I'm truly hungry. 80 lbs down and I'm loving my new relationship with food, trying to give my body the nutrition it needs.

I bank my calories. If I have 300 calories left today and I want a donut in a couple of days and eat it and enjoy it when I want it. Thats listening to my body and teaching it to listen to me ✨

I like to know my protein intake for certain goals. also like to track my macros. nothing wrong with either way. don't make one sound "bad" though..

tracking calories and weighing food is the only way to take away the variables when you're trying to lose fat... it's not that big a deal

This kind of thinking doesn’t work for everyone I’m a mindless eater I need structure and routine and eating my food and counting calories keeps me accountable and motivated and also keeps me in my deficit so there’s that

since June 24, I have calculated everything that goes in my mouth. I've managed to lose 20 kg in 11 months. I'm trying to stay in a 500 deficit as much as i can. sometimes i go higher or lower.

If the most efficient way to know how much we eat is to count, then why shouldn’t we? I know it can get cumbersome, but you cannot escape the fact it works. There’s just nothing else that comes close

Agree. I think people should at least weigh out their foods for a certain amount of time. It helped me be able to not weigh my food and be correct about the ballpark of calories I’m eating. Most people don’t know what 3 oz of meat looks like lol

I use my fitnesspal but if I am genuinely hungry I will ignore the app. As long as I'm not overdoing it everyday that's all that matters to me

I have lost over 30lbs with Maggie. I too thought I was always ‘hungry’ but it really was me just eating because I could eat. Maggie’s program has been the best thing I’ve done!

I use the weighing out to portion my meals so I can get the food noise under control. it's helped me eat intuitive though my issue is undereating

Maggie has had it so I AM able to listen to my body. Yes it took work, yes it took me making mistakes but I am 35 weeks pregnant and I haven’t gained a single pound! All thanks to Maggie helping me!
