Rodents typically travel up against the wall so they ran into the McDonald's burger first. I wonder if the homemade burger switched places with the McDonald's burger, if it would be eaten first. I think it is just positioning and that you should try it one more time. Switch the positio. of the burgers.

animals have instincts to not eat food that is expiring unless it's an animal that eats decomposing items anyway. they went to the McDonald's because it's fake and didn't have bacteria

I think it’s bc it was on the sidewalk and animals just didn’t pass by there. A raccoon, opossum, cat, dog would have prob eaten both. Maybe I’ll get a McDonald’s burger and see if my 4 wiener dos will eat it, I am making burgers tonight on the grill I already know they love my burgers though. Lol
