I feel that “supercar” and “exotic” have their own definitions. An F12 may be an exotic because of its production and brand name but it’s not really a “supercar” in terms of its design; the C8 Z06 is a mid engine body with a powerful motor made for versatile performance “but this describes the C7” the C7 looks nothing like the C8, and that’s the argument here.

What makes a supercar are a list of factors. (Expensive price, performance, engine placement, sound and design) the corvette checks all these boxes every other supercar does. I’d argue the c7 zr1 is a supercar

I think this is bridging the gap between performance and looks. It’s no doubt that c8 look more exotic then the c7. Yeah it’s the same speed but sounds exotic and looks exotic. They are moving into that genre slowly
