Question. This apartment I currently stay at just gave me my 30 days notice, in the notice it says if I give my 30 days notice I have to pay the new amount which is crazy because HOW? If my lease isn’t even up yet 🤨 also I was looking at my lease and I don’t see that anywhere on there, unless I’m over looking it. Is this even legal ?

I been at my apartment for 5 years . I resigned my lease for the upcoming year (Aug 25-26) and I found something better so I told them I was leaving the end of my lease which is July 20th. They said okay and posted my apartment online. Does this mean I'm good to go after my current lease up ?

As a former property manager I agree 100%. Sooo many times I had residents not read it and they suffered the consequences. As you know the office only follows the rules we dont make them 😩😭

serious question, how bad is it if the apartments did NOT give you the lease the day you got your keys to said apartment??? Need to know because this happened to my mom and I fairly recently. Thank you 🙏

I renewed a lease and 2 people joined on it, they did not let us know it was 2 different leases. I had read over original so skimmed 2nd...there were changes that didn't notice. was only available

Found out the place I rented had a clause saying they charge $200 for cleaning after move out. Realized there was no point in me trying to paint, clean, anything of the sort. Why bother?!

It still baffles me the conversations that I have to have with folks about the terms of their lease. Even with the folks that read their lease they act like the clauses don’t poly to them. And I LOVE the folks that say well I’m going to contact my attorney. Like baaabbby so you think I don’t have a team of attorneys!

Question… places want a 60 day notice to vacate, but most places you’re moving into only lets you apply 30 days early. So they want us to tell them we’re leaving before a new place is secured? 🥴 and most states don’t have renters rights. Thank you for sharing info!
