I've never stolen a car, or owned one, but I have had to use a screwdriver to start my car. Sometimes you gotta have a car to drive and can't afford a new ignition.

Just because he started it with a screwdriver doesn’t mean it’s stolen. They’re tweakers and I’ve seen this a bunch. The possibility of it being stolen is there but I doubt it, tweakers rig stuff up like this all the time.
