I walked around in 20°c heat in LA wearing a leather jacket over a shirt over t shirt and barely broke a sweat. If I did that in London I’d probably die of heat stroke.

There's a technique for keeping houses cool. 1 Open windows early morning upstairs and down. this draws in cool air. 2 at 10am Close windows and doors close all blinds to keep the interior cool.

The being unable to sleep is bad for sure, as the houses are designed to trap heat and we have tropical nights, you don't even get a break from it, sometimes for a week or so or longer, the struggle is real. People usually mock UK summer until they experience it 😂
