with mine during the procedure it wasnt really painful except the first needle to numb it that stung a little but the second needle didn’t really hurt just kind of uncomfortable because you can just feel the pressure of the needle going deeper

I had it and the sac didn’t close. Talk about a migraine straight from Satan himself. Had to have a blood patch to fix it

Got this for my MS. Had CSF leak. Had blood patch. It failed. More CSF leak. For 14 days was in agony. And then the hospital “accidentally deleted the order” for my test and said I needed another spinal tap. I’m going elsewhere

I had to get a spinal tap(lumbar puncture) for my MS diagnosis and when I tell it hurt like a mf I was in there curled up like a baby and the comfort nurse wasn’t making it no better 😂

My son who was 4 at the time had this done. They said he had Meningitis, then discovered he actually had Encephalitis. He was so ill he didn’t even flinch when they did it

had it a few times as a child because i had excess production of the cerebrospinal fluid and it got to a point where they had to do this it (it doesn’t hurt really u js cant move at all during or after)
