@inspired_by_animals: Kobuk decided to do some special stick training today 🥷🐻 🎥: Jane Thompson @AWCC After Kobuk was found Orphaned in Valdez, Alaska and had become dependent on searching through trash cans for food. He was rescued and transferred to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Centre (AWCC) as a cub in 2016. Kobuk now thrives as part of their 200 acre land which allows injured and orphaned animals like Kobuk, to have a better life where they can exhibit their natural behaviors in the most natural setting possible. Kobuk loves climbing trees, playing with balls of honey and blueberries as well as interacting with the animal care staff. Along with the other animals at AWCC they become ambassadors for their species by assisting in teaching others, raising awareness and promoting conservation. #blackbear #bear
