Portugal was wonderful! if i had 3 weeks i would either base myself in a decently priced European country or Asian country so if i want to do day trips or weekend trips it's fast, and normal living

I spent 5 weeks in Portugal as a solo traveler and loved it. Stayed in Porto for 2 weeks, Lisbon for 2 weeks, and then 1 week in Th Azores. So many amazing day trips!

Honestly speaking, I travel solo often live in Europe and Lisbon is one of my least favorite cities. Portugal has beautiful sites, but I don’t find the people to be very welcoming. 1)

Portugal is so amazing- great option. Vibes in Lisbon are immaculate but would suggest staying a few days in other places as well vs using Lisbon as base (i.e. Porto, Douro Valley and Comporta/Algarve

Honestly, I didn’t love Lisbon, I’d definitely recommend Croatia and Montenegro, Switzerland, or Prague/Budapest/Vienna (all easy to travel between by train). If you want to do Portugal 1/2

I didn’t love Lisbon or Porto. It was fine but compared to other places in Europe it was low on my list. Ibiza was gorgeous - I’m not a partier but loved it anyway. Do Italy! Or Greece!

3 weeks in Lisbon is a long time. I would recommend you split your time in Lisbon AND faro. rent a car and see the Algarve. it's gorgeous but you need a car.

I loved Lisbon! Porto was also lovely and that was an easy train ride. Then you could take a quick flight over to Spain. Been in Spain 3 weeks - Granada has been my fav.

I loved Portugal! Lisbon is beautiful and it doesn’t have the same “big city” feel as those big Spanish cities. I traveled there on my own and it was wonderful.
