Looking for a job for this upcoming school year has been a roller coaster of emotions so far. I know my school is out there somewhere. I’m continuing to stay positive and patient the best I can. Even with 7+ years of teaching experience, I’m still struggling. If you’re also discouraged, you’re not alone. I know there are some areas of the country that are begging for teachers but that’s not everywhere. Certain areas are still extremely competitive with numerous highly qualified candidates. I can also relate to how it feels when you see other teachers setting up their classrooms and getting excited for the new year, and you’re still searching for a school to call home. I get it, but like said before, you’re not alone. The right school will come that will make you realize why you’ve been searching this entire time.
