So hard when you’re trying to better yourself in ways your parents didn’t / couldn’t, and being around them when you’re trying to progress but they’re stagnant and it makes it harder to get better because of triggers/ trauma that being around them can cause

a close family member of mine passed away recently, which maybe could have been prevented. I agree you shouldn‘t ruin your own life to save someone, but it can be worth at least trying to help ❤️🕊️

my mother cannot slow down, when i was young i always felt like i am rushed- not let to explore by myself, she won't let me try to do things on my own- micromanaging everything. Now i have my own daughter- i let her play and exploring, learning how to do things while i still keep an eye to protect her. Even now i still can't see eye to eye about parenting my daughter with her.
