I still don’t get how they were able to make shows like 10 years ago yearly, faithfully, some 20 plus episodes and now they can’t and a minimum 2 year wait. SMH , what changed?

I’ve got to the point now where I won’t start a show until it’s ended, that way I don’t have to wait 2-3 years for a season to come out.

I waited the entire 3 years for Severance. If it was a lesser show I’d be out with a break like that. Even with how good it is, if they have another break like that they’ll probably lose me.

This is so true. At least with the network shows, if it's picked up, you know it's coming back in September or October. There is continuity. With a streaming show it could be years between seasons!

Blame the corporations funding the projects. They are so afraid to green light another season until the current season ratings are shown. They don’t even start filming until after the season is shown.

Netflix goes to great lengths to keep stranger things relevant when it's not on. The final season will have like 2 viral moments and then it will be gone & forgotten. A show about Gen X made for Gen Z
