I think HBO is doing a great job at having us longing for a new episode by doing weekly releases. The Pitt , The White Lotus, TLOU ... People are really waiting for them to come out and talk about it.

24 episodes was probably too much but maybe around 15 would be a good number. But also we used to finish a season in June or something and start the next season in September or early October. The story, the characters were still vivid in our memory. Now we have to wait at least two years before having a new season that's the main issue for me

I 100% agree with you. We need this connection with characters like shows from the 90s did. White Lotus is probably the only show that has characters we are invested in.

Bring back short episodes too. 30 min episodes over more weeks, that’s why they could run so long

agree! I never used to like reality TV and one of the reasons I enjoy it now is because it gave me something to watch every week and I'd get to know the people more each week

I both love watching shows week to week (which is still the norm for most British TV & Disney+) and hate the old mammoth 24 episode season shows 😅 I’d rather savour things than get bored by them
