truth is we don’t know how old it is. we can only estimate, the Bible never says how old anything is 🙏😭 also, when it says day dont take that too literally because we don’t know how much a day is to God, and I’ve heard the word that in the language genesis was wittten in, Day actually translated to Age🤷♀️

If you hold to an old earth theory you are putting death before original sin but Gods word says sin brought death into the world. Deaths not good. In the beginning God made everything good.

I am pretty literal with the Bible, but I find it's hard to support the young earth point of view even using Scripture. The Bible never says the passages of time listed are the only times that pass. In fact, it even says that a day to the Lord is as 1000 years, so I'm really not sure how they inform this opinion.

I dont know. Exodus 20:11 seems to make it clear that God created the heavens the earth the sea and everything in them and rested the 7th.

read it like this. "In the Beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth." that's the title of the chapter. then the contents of the chapter is describing how the title came to be.
