OH ANNE…. Weight loss doesn’t mean fat loss 🚨I feel like this is VERY important to talk about because so many of us FIXATE on the scale. If the scale drops = WINNER but if it goes up or stays the same = FAILURE! When you are trying to lose FAT you also have to change the way you track progress which unfortunately I couldn’t fit in this already 3 min video LOL so I thought I could type it out here! Here is how I have my clients track progress: - Scale weight - Measurements - Progress photos - Gym PRs / weight increases / form improvement  - How do you FEEL?  - How are you SLEEPING? - Do you still need that THIRD cup of coffee or are you getting your energy back? - Do we have any muscles peaking through?!  THIS MAKES FITNESS MORE FUN! Look how many opportunities there are to shout out progress! And THAT I think is what keeps most of them (and me) going! Hitting 200 lbs on hip thrust, flexing my biceps in my progress photos and noticing VISUAL change even if the scale is only down 2 lbs you FEEL and LOOK completely different and that is what matters! I always tell me girls… hey we can get the scale down but just know that your dream body MIGHT weigh more than you think (aka bc of muscle mass)  If you’re:
❌ Cutting carbs
❌ Only doing cardio
❌ Eating as little as possible ...and wondering why you still feel tired, SOFT, and SQUISHY 👀 it’s because you’re losing weight, not fat Weight loss can come from water, muscle, and glycogen. But FAT LOSS?
👉 Requires strategy
👉 Preserves your muscle
