Love this series. Also, succinylcholine should be avoided in patients with rhabdo, muscle trauma, acute burns and hyperkalemia, right?

30 yrs I use sparingly! Because in school saw a 7.5 k after induction and code ! 21 yr old undiagnosed muscular dystrophy .. he made it. Like 1min after induction… it hit the fan !!!

PTSD- given when I went into anaphylaxis but they forgot the induction agent, then couldn’t intubate. I remember laying there hearing it all waiting for RT to arrive. I’m a RN too! 🤦🏼♀️🙈
