The only such cameo that wouldn’t feel out of place for me in Andor, would be the Emperor himself. Either giving a speech in the Senate, or in a meeting with Krennic and Partagaz. And maybe Dedra.

I would say too that characters like Vader deform the plot around them. Andor would instantly stop being about people doing what they can, and become about their small part in the Will of the Force.
