My entire fam loves it and I hope you will too!  – 1 pound ground beef – 1 pound Italian sausage – 1 onion, chopped – 3 cloves garlic, minced – 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes – 2 (6-ounce) cans tomato paste – 1 (15-ounce) container ricotta cheese – 1 large egg – 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese – 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese – 1 tbsp dried oregano – 1 tbsp onion powder - 1 tbsp Italian seasoning – Salt and pepper to taste – 1/2 box oven-ready lasagna noodles 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). 2. In a large skillet, over medium heat cook your onions down for a few minutes then add & season your ground beef & Italian sausage. Cook until browned, then place heat on low. 3. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, and season with salt and pepper. Let your sauce simmer for about 30 minutes. 4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 5. Coat a 9×13 inch baking dish with a drizzle of olive oil & place 4 lasagna noodles on top. Spread a layer of the ricotta mixture, then add a layer of mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers, ending with meat sauce and remaining mozzarella & Parmesan cheese on top. 6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes covered, then 20 minutes uncovered until golden. 7.
