@eastcoastdiy: We get it… things happen! Especially in Florida, the sun is brutal, and we are in a very salty climate, so unfortunately the wood just faded wayyyyy faster than ever expected… Bringing it back to new again… well I hope! #disastertodreamhome
Yeah, no. They didn’t stand by their product. Didn’t offer to refund or replace. And told YOU to do all the work. Sometimes you need to stand up for yourself. This was one of those times.

As an Australian you have to stain them again to get the colour back and seal them

Usually in New Zealand they fade super quick first 6 months then you oil it and it stays pretty good for around 1-2years. We call it Kwila here but same wood.

Please drop the company name so we can all be sure to never use them. Having to do all this when they are this new is egregious.

the fact these didn't last as long, not only the staining, but the cracking as well, their business is one to avoid...they looked amazing when new though, they don't age well

You can use an oil based stain on them we do in Aus. And add a sealer on top for extra protection. Otherwise it’ll keep discolouring.

you should also do the underside as well so the wood doesn't warp. Good luck.
