The recent skirmishes between Pakistan and India, instigated by the latter based on unproven allegations, led to the shooting down of 5 Indian Air Force Combat Aircraft, primary among them, the French Dassault manufactured Rafael Combat Planes. One could argue that the Pilot is only good as his equipment and vice versa, but make no mistake, Indian Air Force Pilots are very good, supposedly the equipment they were operating were assumed to be superior, particularly the French Rafael Combat Aircraft. Why is this important, NATO, the so called Defense Alliance considers the Twin Engine Rafael Combat Aircraft as a major frontline multirole aircraft, and part of its strike force in the event of a major War. This was in reality a myth since it was shattered on May 7, 2025 in the areas over Indian Occupied Kashmir after 3 Rafael's were downed by what was considered a vastly inferior Combat Aircraft, the Chinese manufactured Single Engine Chengdu J10, operated by the Pakistani Air Force. NATO has not been tested in the Air, Sea nor Ground, well not until the recent Air-to-Air War of 7 May 2025, has resulted in NATO Member Nations now in full lockdown looking into what a future War would look like given recent events. What the Pakistani Air Force Pilots achieved using a Chinese manufactured Combat Aircraft has sent shockwaves across the Globe, are US, French, German and UK manufactured Combat Aircraft and weapons able to withstand an all out Air-to-Air War against Chinese manufactured Combat Aircraft? This is now the most profound question that NATO Senior Command is asking if itself. India, inadvertently exposed a vulnerability of NATO Frontline defensive strategy, this is why it has been abandoned by it's so called Allies and friends.
