Work now is a scam. In the 70s rent:$200 new car:$3,000 house:$23k. In the 70s you could pay all expenses including rent with 1 1/2 weeks of work leaving you 2 1/2 weeks of extra money for a house or a car or travel or even a more luxurious lifestyle. Now that life is a pipe dream there is no light at the end of the tunnel for us why would we go the extra mile when it wouldn’t change the outcome of still not being able to afford anything.

We don’t hate work it’s just that we should have to work 40+ hours or more than one job to survive we should be able to enjoy the one life we have

Life is NOT work. We have enough food for every starving child. Enough homes for every homeless mother. Enough electricity in nuclear to power the world. Yet we continue to serve the rich and greedy

We are definitely in a new technological shift as well. Pretty soon machines will be doing all the hard labor. My question is if that’s the case, necessities like food, water, and even shelter, the very basic needs could be met by using machines instead of human labor. Does this mean that stuff will be cheaper and more available?
