@steeldruid: It's a spear. Maybe not quite a viking spear. But it'll work for the vibes I'm sure. Initially planning to make a wizard's staff, I decided this would be infinitely cooler. I do have some minor touches to finish this off, mainly just for aesthetics though, and actually nailing the spearhead into the shaped end of the staff so it has a secure and snug fit.
