I've been loosing weight with just the calories deficit for a year now an it stoll works like a charm. I have even been less drastic in the last two months with "only" 300 instead of "450" deficit in calories and I'm still loosing weight and I'm not the only one...

yes but as your metabolism slows down where you need fewer calories, you then increase calorie expenditure or remove more calories to achieve that 500kcal defecit again & your loosing 1lb a week again
