My mom told me that one year after the Oilers won they partied with the Stanley cup in Edmonton and it ended up in the Stirgeon River. She thinks they are definitely the reason there is a cup keeper now lol

When my uncles team won it we were partying with it and it came apart. A trainer went to Home Depot and literally DIY fixed it to keep it together for the parade.
