@justinveenema: Photographer meets Photographer 🤝 This interaction is a perfect example of why I love connecting with other creatives. I met Shane on a Sunny day in Vancouver. I noticed his film camera and asked if I could take his photo. His story of how he got into photography is beautiful, so I’m not going to spoil it here and instead I’ll let him tell it. But one thing that instantly clicked with me was our shared childhood core memory. We both remember looking through the viewfinder as a kid, and being amazed at how interesting the world looked through the lens. So parents, if you’re reading this and want your kids to get into photography… just hand them a camera and let them look through it! 😂 And as luck would have it, as we were taking photos, another random photographer appeared and asked us about our cameras lol. Then we all geeked out over each other’s cameras like true weirdos would 😂 (They were both shooting on Nikon film cameras, and I was shooting on a Sony A7CII in case anyone was wondering) I freaking love how photographers can bond over this stuff.
