Speaking for SJ, the city actually planted only male trees in public to avoid having to pick up the flower and fruit and so there has been immense pollen in the air bc of that

over the last 60 years they continued to plant male trees... because females produce fruit and drop where as males produce pollen... so each year male plants produce pollen and have no females so...

I went to an “allergy specialist” here in San Jose and she did not helped at all!!! Horrible 😣 left the same as I walked in. South Bay Allergy and Asthma, horrible service. 😭😞
