In this job market, CE would be the better choice. Entry level CS jobs are all oversaturated and replaceable by AI. CEs can also go into EE if they want.

Guys I've been searching about this for a long time I came to this conclusion and if someone has any comment please tell me. So basically I more leaned towrads CS just because I like software more and even if I wanted to work in hardware it wouldn't be that easy since EE could do it better than CE. the only thing that is making me hesitate is the "engineer" title's social status and my family kinda want that maybe I do too but it's not really practical.

CS creates Compiler, Network Protocols, Operating System, Application Programming Interface, Programming Language, different types of Data Structures, Game Engine, Servers, Browsers, Productivity Softwares, Enterprise Softwares, and many software related projects. CpE does create Chips and Hardware Components but CS creates Algorithms
