There really needs to be some sort of pathway to citizenship for children brought here at a young age who are clearly positively contributing to society. She came here at 4. Obviously not of her own accord. She’s a college student pursuing a degree and later on some type of career that would contribute to the American economy and taxes. I’ve seen nothing about a criminal record. Why not offer her a way to remain here? How is she hurting this country in anyway?

You realize no where else in the world are you allowed to walk into a country illegally and allowed to become a citizen. I appreciate the sentiment, I really do. Many of these people are coming from a rough situation. But if you think that open border policies are the answer, you may want to check with some of the European countries that are having these same issues. Why are the parents not chastised? Their choices have placed her in this position. Regardless of how you view ICE, it is the law.
