Yes!!! Been screaming this for YEARS. It’s just lazy writing. There is a literal comic where Steve goes back to the 40’s, right after the war I think? And he comes to the conclusion that he no longer belongs in the past and his family and place is in the future. And marvel completely forgot that comic exists.
