She's not responding back to him because he echoes what he hears., it may seem cruel but it's not. it's making him push out his vocals for what he wants and is thinking. I hope he enjoyed his food 👍

she is not responding to him so he can talk freely without his echolalia taking over and repeating everything she says. she just wants to hear him talk freely. please correct me if I'm wrong but that's what I've been seeing when I watch these videos. I have no knowledge of autism but what you have chosen to show everyone 🙂

I remember the day my son said Pizza.. He was nonverbal att. I asked if we wanted pizza in our tummy’s.. he nodded excitingly, said Pizza and I jumped at the phone and called.. “George wants a cheese pizza” he saw me calling and the smile on him.. I’ll never forget.

By not saying anything she's prompting him to continue speaking his own thoughts instead of him repeating what she says (which he typically does)

I don't get why, you are still sat there. he's wanting something to eat...... My son is exact the same, if he asked for food, we get up and feed him, I don't get why he's having to repeat 4 times.....

From a mom with a non verbal autistic child I strongly recommend omega 3 gummies if he will eat them. It sounds crazy but after about 6 weeks of my daughter taking them her vocabulary has been opening

You could see him realising that food wasn’t working so he did try to think and use a different word but didn’t quite get there this time but mum knows what she’s doing it’s getting him used to using his own words unprompted which is huge!! Well done Ethan and mum x
