I live and die by the L-Lysine pills! It’s not an overnight fix but it for sure speeds the process. Also if you take two as soon as you feel an itch and then regular doses for 2/3 days after the sore never comes to the surface! However NOTHING gets me right like Valtrax (or the generic brand)

Valcyclovir and Abreva are my go-to’s. If I catch it at the tingle phase I can clear it up in 4-5 days. It goes straight to scab phase after 1-2 days. Won’t even bloom.
