Oh be careful with clumping litter in the drain might clog up definitely wipe any chunks off first then wash the rest

Google says the litter collects bacteria from feces that can find ways into the water supply when put down drains, that will threaten the well being of animals. also it could build up in the pipes (almost like grease) causing issues and costs lots of money to fix. not shaming anybody, just looking into it.
