I’ve been using the @APRILSKIN USA TXA+Niacinamide 99 Milky Toner and Toning Shot 99 Serum, and overall, they’re both interesting and solid products. The toner has a lightweight, milky texture that absorbs well without feeling sticky. It hydrates nicely and gives my skin a healthy, slightly brighter look over time. While it doesn’t dramatically fade dark spots, it preps my skin well and keeps it balanced, which I appreciate for my combination skin. The serum is more intense. It has a dense, jelly-like texture with micro-spicules that create a light prickly sensation upon application. At first, I wasn’t sure about the feeling, but after a few uses, I got used to it. It noticeably smooths skin texture. It’s not an overnight fix, of course, but with consistent use, it does help even out skin tone. However, if you have sensitive skin, you might want to start slow. Together, these products work well for hydration, brightening, and mild hyperpigmentation. The toner is a great everyday step, while the serum is more targeted and requires patience. I’d definitely repurchase the toner for daily hydration and the serum for when my skin needs an extra boost.
