Don’t forget we go undiagnosed until stage 4 where we lose organs and fertility

10% that are diagnosed! Lots of them aren’t diagnosed and dismissed! Don’t forget that 💔

Endometriosis is a whole body disease.
it has been found in every major organ in the body.
It can grow anywhere in the body.
It isn't just a female only disease, it has been found in biological males.
it's rare for biological males though, only around 20 reported cases so far.

Been having symptoms of endo since I started my period at 9 years old, been fighting the doctors for a diagnosis for 4 years now, still undiagnosed but have now taken 4 trips to the ER all due to these issues, and yet they still don’t believe me. It’s so draining. I watched my mother almost die from endo and I’m trying to get mine under control at an early start but I can’t do that without a diagnosis 😔

I finally got my diagnosis, however there is no cure. and it might as well be called a cancer because of how much it spreads on other organs. i am so surprised not many doctors and patience know about it because I feel like it effects so many women and girls and people with ovaries

And that’s just the amount of women who have been diagnosed with it!! A lot of the times, doctors just dismiss symptoms.

so I have PCOS, had infertility for over 6 years until I had an hsg done and found out my tube/tubes were blocked. the dye unblocked at least one tube and I conceived that same month but I have no idea what caused them to be blocked in the first place. I believe I have Endo especially since I've been getting this debilitating cramp pain that comes and goes only for a few seconds and bloating sometimes for months. would Endo have caused the tubal blockages

I got stage 4 of endometriosis and lost half of my colon. Doctor's thought it was apendicitis but it wasn't until they performed a laparoscopy that they found out it was endometriosis. I went to the doctor several times beflre that, with several different doctors because of my pain and none of them realized what it was until it was too late and I had to have surgery. I'm still recovering since this was 2 weeks ago and now I have to take birth control pills and treatment because they said "the tissue can grow back again". What?

🎀Jessie🎀 ENDOMETRIOSIS | IUD :
love seeing correct info about endo! from someone with stage four endometriosis who was bed bound with pelvic contractions two minutes apart while doctors told me the pain was all in my head- until they found my embedded Mirena IUD and stage IV grown back.

I was wrongly diagnosed for a long time, my symptoms included cramps during and not during my period, after bathroom use. It was awful, it affected my day to day life. I finally found an endo specialist when I had an MRI and possible endo was found plus scar tissue from a uterine fibroid removal from 2018. Mind you, I am also overweight and had a sleeve surgery in 2020, not once was I diagnosed with PCOS before all this. I recently had surgery to get scar tissue removed and endometriosis removed, I had lose my left fallopian tube, I’m still healing but I’m praying this is a solution. I’ve been through so much and I’m not even close to the relationships/getting pregnant stage of life 😩
