Is this a UK thing? Because I’ve never come across makaton before. My Speech Therapist has never mentioned it.

YPearson Cancer Awareness :
This is such a difficult thing to deal with. many take for granted speaking and eating. my daughter died of tongue cancer aged 25 and she totally lost her ability to speak an eat, heartbreaking. I follow you Karen an you are amazing. it must be incredibly lonely and frustrating at times. sending you much love an encouragement I imagine there's many people out there appreciate your help an influence xxx
