some disorders are so valid to self diagnose like EDs, ptsd, depression but some other diagnosis are really really complex and should only be self diagnosed under certain circumstances

As someone that used to self diagnose and had this mindset I now have more problems and all I managed to do was confuse myself more. Self diagnosing is dangerous and invalid in my opinion

Diagnosis is nice. If i say im autistic no one believes: “you cant be autistic you can speak with people” or “you cant be autistic u look like a normal person” (they dont understand its a SPECTRUM)

honestly I fortunately don't have any illnesses or diagnosis but I still feel terrible and have felt terrible for years and since 2023 it has been worse. I hate struggling with mental health.
