The same thing happens with things like feminism or trans rights advocacy or general progressiveness when people act out in loud ways and make the entire community look bad. Maybe if diversity on large and small scales was more normalized this wouldn’t happen?

Thank you for a reasonable take. If I saw 20 black dudes dressed in suits hanging around a downtown hotel, I'd think they were there for some kind of event. If I see 20 black kids with skinny jeans, balaclavas and winter jackets in May milling around in groups in that same area, common sense tells me I should be smart and give them space.

I don’t like the term black or ghetto fatigue because it isn’t just one race. I’ve always called people sh!theads that act like they have no common sense. Sh!thead fatigue is real though.

The problem is not with black people, it’s eith ghetto people, and there is no way to “act black”. White people can be ghetto, Hispanics, absolutely anyone. And THATS where the problem is, ita just unfortunately a lot of the ghetto people are black, it’s sucks but it is. THATS no excuse to racially stereotype someone or tell them to act a certain way and associate it with a skin color.

Thomas Sowell wrote a book on this titled Black Rednecks and White Liberal. It's available on YouTube as a free audiobook. I didn't know there was an actual term for this. If you haven't read the book I recommend giving it a listen on YouTube.

This completely misrepresents what “Black fatigue” actually means. It’s a term created to describe the exhaustion Black people feel from dealing with racism – not a label for being tired of “bad behavior”. That framing is not only inaccurate, but it feeds right into the stereotypes the original term was meant to challenge. If someone’s being rude or disrespectful, that’s not a race issue – it’s a character issue. Call it what it is.
