@TheSherlockEra :
If you step back, you will see not just a moment, but an entire scene. You will realize that October 7 was not a beginning, but a result. It was not a spark, but a rift that accumulated over decades of oppression, siege, occupation, displacement, and massacres carried out without accountability. If you view the violence as if it began with knocking on the doors of settlements, you are ignoring the thousands of doors demolished in Gaza, the villages erased, and the dreams extinguished since the Nakba.
The real tragedy lies not in those who create the event, but in those who deliberately ignore its roots. Disasters are not born of a vacuum, but rather from injustice when it is prolonged, from occupation when it is legitimized, and from silence when it becomes the norm.
October 7 is painful, but it does not justify the erasure of Gaza. Nor can it be used as an eraser of history.
