during the initial assembly of the short block, I noticed that the number 3 main bearing, or the thrust bearing, did not have nearly enough oil clearance. this is exactly why we must always measure and never guess or assume that everything is right. finally got the misfire situation resolved on the 2009 Cadillac CTS-V. thankfully it was as simple as changing spark plugs and plug wires. after enduring severe public backlash from my followers for threatening to not put the car on the dyno, it turned out to be very beneficial because the car ended up having some fueling issues. there is definitely a little bit of work that needs to be done to the tune, although it is far from the worst I've ever seen. The whole reason I did not intend on putting it on the dyno was because the tune looked fairly decent. after making an initial pull, It became apparent that the car had other unresolved issues, specifically with the fuel system. In this case, the DSX tuning auxiliary pump was not getting power. I thought the power was caused by a short in the wiring, but evidently that is not the case.
