while finishing up the tuning in this 2014 SS, I decided to make video that was requested a while back regarding full throttle AFR. *MOST* of the time, a naturally aspirated LSX will be set some 12.5-12.7 AFR at full throttle, give or take. some people like to really push them to the lean side side to get every last HP out of them. that's fine if it is their car, but I generally prefer to set a car to go last a good long time vs leaving it on the ragged edge of detonation all the time. injector quality/consistency, fuel quality, and other factors will determine how safe it is or isn't to run them more to the lean side. these factors are largely out of anyone's control, so it's best to leave that 5hp on the table to keep the engine safer....in my opinion anyway. #bentune #hptuners #dyno #tuning #mustangdyno #dynotuning #gm #cars #Chevrolet #Chevy #Camaro #SS #6speed #automatic #6L80 #ls3 #L99 #lsx #btr #BrianTooleyRacing #Trinity #intake #manifold #mechanic #mechanicsoftiktok #auto #repair #racecar #streetcar #Friday #work #LFG
